Yoga is the panacea of all diseases. Those who perform yoga everyday are free from all health related issues. Though yoga is always performed with empty stomach or after 5 hour of your meal, but Vajrasana or Diamond pose is exception. This is the yoga asana which can be performed after the meal.

How to do vajrasana

For Vajrasana you have to follow these simple steps.

  1. Step 1: Sit on the floor or on your yoga mat.
  2. Step 2: Sit in such a way that legs bend on your knees.
  3. Step 3:Both the knees touch each other and butts should rest on your heels.
  4. Step 4: Heels should point outwards and toes should point inwards.
  5. Step 5: Keep both your hands stretched and straight over the knees
  6. Step 6: Spinal cord should be straight and breathing should be normal.
  7. Step 7: You can sit in this position as long as you can.

Benefits of vajrasana

Today I want to share my own experience as why chewing food is extremely important. It is the easiest way to reduce your food intake by 25-30% and loose those extra pounds. Dieting was very difficult option for me, because I feel it is important to satisfy both physical hunger and mental hunger. Due to our hectic schedule and childhood habit of finishing the meal early and on time, we have the tendency of eating food very fast. So when I first came to know about this concept I thought that I should give it a try. Initially I felt irritated but it really worked for me.
