Summer is the most awaited season for most people because for them it is the time to indulge in the taste of Mango. Yes mango, the most delicious and mouth watering fruit which brings sweetness and happiness in our life. Mango is considered as the king of all fruits. People of all age group enjoy mango in variety of ways. You can make yummy mango juice, mango lassi, mango shake, mango barfi and unending recipes that can be prepared out of mango. It is full of various vitamins and minerals. However when you are enjoying the taste of mango, you should take care of few things so that it does not affect your health adversely.
Precautions
- Mango has natural tendency to increase the body temperature so always keep a limit. Try and drink a glass of milk to mitigate the warm effect.
- Do not drink water immediately after the intake of mango.
- Take a pinch of salt and dry ginger powder to digest the mango properly.
- While buying mango, make sure that you are selecting riped mangoes. Too much intake of unriped mango can cause throat irritation, indigestion and dysentery. Unripe mango can be best used to make pickle, chutney etc.
- Do not keep unriped mango in referigarator as it stops the ripening process. Once the mango is ripe, place it in a refrigerator where it should remain fresh for few days.
