“It is health that is real wealth not pieces of gold and silver” correctly said by Mahatma Gandhi. As we all know that our body is a temple of God, so it is very essential to take care of our body. It completely depends on us how we take care of the body. Every action either physical action or mental action performed by us affects our body.
- Physical actions: Eating unhealthy food, lack of exercise and activeness, wrong posture of sitting, standing, walking etc are the physical actions which has negative impacts on our body. In this case symptoms can be recognized and cured if proper and timely measures are taken.
- Mental Actions: Anxiety, depression, stress, unhappiness etc are the actions which are signs of mental illness. This often goes unrecognized and untreated. Health providers focus more on physical health that they often miss mental illness. Well taking care of the body is not a one day job, consistent efforts are required to maintain a healthy lifestyle. In today’s world everyone is very busy in their education, career, business and other daily chores that they do not have time for themselves and their body. Everyone is dependent on technology and people started relying on technology rather than putting own efforts to keep the body healthy. However little care and exercise makes wonder in one's life. Simple and regular habits like drinking plenty of water, avoiding junk food when it is possible to do so, taking staircase rather than elevator, travelling small distances via walk, chewing food properly etc are really helpful to loose those extra pounds from your body and also gives you mental relaxation.
